I've had the amazing privilege of working with Moonlight Color Lab since 1989. I cannot even conceive of the idea of not having them as my team player in what I do. I love the photography I do and the people at Moonlight just make my life easy. When I send them images to print, they always turn out beautiful. When I was in the process of changing from film to digital, Moonlight helped me make that leap of faith and shared with me what he knew from his experience, as far as the best camera that would suit my needs; it was right on! If I have a question, they are always there to answer. I feel so supported and am honored to have had the ability to work with these wonderful people who make up Moonlight Color Lab.

Thank you so much for all you do!
All my best to you,
Janise Witt

About

From the moment I laid my eyes on a camera in my grandma's desk at the age of 10, I loved photography, it was like a found treasure, and it is the treasure in others which I enjoy bringing out into its full light. I continue to learn and evolve as an artist, because I think that's one of the things I enjoy about photography – it's always expanding and changing. Now with digital photography, the expansion is like being catapulted into another galaxy, where the possibilities are infinite. The world around us changes, but the basics are still there – the wonderful celebrations of life and the unique stories which can be captured to seize your wondrous memories.

I've had the privilege of being a full time fine art photographer for 22 years and I love my art more now than when I began and I'm not sure how that happened, but it has and that totally excites me!

I also have a love of nature, people and all Earth's family and so Sedona is a perfect home for me. I am an avid hiker and so bringing people out into the Red Rocks of Sedona is a natural way for me to continue to share my gifts with others.

I enjoy this beautiful home with my husband, Jim and my puppy princess, Amadei who bring me much joy, as do my friends and community in Sedona. Even though Sedona is somewhat small in size population wise, it has quite a diverse blend of people with interesting philosophies, which I love, because I grew up in Southern California, where you could have a new philosophy for every hour of the day. You could entertain these different ideas, but were not required to embrace them as your own.

It is my pleasure to listen to you, because I really love collaborating with others to find out what is important to you. In this way, there's a synergy that takes place, where the whole is greater than the individual parts. Process is important to me as well. For to see something take shape from a beginning seed or concept to full glorious manifestation is really like a celebration - a full circle. These full circles have manifested in the stories I create for others, for brides and grooms and families, feature stories for publications and cookbooks, each with their own special heart, and always with passion.
